The Wedding March

A forbidden romance. A marriage of convenience. A heart caught between the two.

In imperial Vienna, Prince Nicki falls in love with Mitzi, a beautiful young woman whose humble background places her far outside his aristocratic world. But with his family’s fortune fading, he faces pressure to marry a wealthy heiress and trade happiness for financial security.

Directed by and starring Erich von Stroheim alongside Fay Wray and ZaSu Pitts, this lavish silent-era drama explores love, ambition and the demands of social class. Romantic longing meets family duty in a world where choosing a partner comes at a price.
