The Love Issue

As the beauty editor of a struggling women’s magazine, Darcey is under pressure to help restore the publication’s fading reputation. But her professional problems suddenly collide with her personal life when she discovers that her ex has gotten engaged to someone else.

Determined to prove she’s moved on, Darcey convinces an up-and-coming photographer to pose as her new boyfriend. Their arrangement is supposed to be simple: he helps her save face, and together they create the fresh, exciting content the magazine desperately needs.

But between glamorous photo shoots, workplace adventures, and keeping their fake relationship convincing, pretend affection quickly turns into playful banter and very real chemistry. Soon, Darcey begins wondering whether the romance she invented to impress everyone else might actually be the real thing.

She needed a fake boyfriend to create the perfect love story—but she never expected to become the leading lady in one herself.
