When Kate is given the responsibility of planning her mother’s beloved Garden Gala—the biggest and most anticipated celebration of the year—she’s determined to make the event more spectacular than ever.
There’s just one problem: the botanical garden has a new manager, and he seems determined to challenge every one of her plans. Practical, opinionated, and frustratingly handsome, he has a very different vision for the garden, forcing Kate to compromise at every turn.
As their disagreements lead to late-night preparations, floral mishaps, and plenty of playful banter, their constant friction begins blossoming into undeniable chemistry. Soon, Kate realizes that the man making her job so difficult might also be the one making the gala—and her life—a lot more interesting.
