Shanghaied

An unwilling sailor. A ship full of trouble.

Hired to help force unsuspecting men into a ship’s crew, Charlie gets a taste of his own scheme when he’s dragged aboard too. With his sweetheart also on the vessel, he must navigate seasickness, shipboard chaos and a dangerous plot to sink the ship.

Starring Charlie Chaplin and Edna Purviance, this lively silent short takes classic slapstick onto the high seas, where even a simple meal becomes a battle to stay upright.
