Romantic Friction

Book-cover artist Lea is used to bringing other people’s love stories to life, but she never expects to become the face of one herself. When she agrees to pose as the mysterious author behind a wildly successful romance novel, she’s suddenly thrust into the spotlight—and into a secret that could unravel at any moment.

The book’s real author is Michael, a snobbish literary novelist who would rather no one discover that he secretly wrote a swoon-worthy romance. Forced to keep up the charade together, Lea and Michael quickly clash over everything from publicity to what makes a great love story.

But as sarcastic exchanges turn into flirtatious banter and their fake partnership begins generating some very real chemistry, the two discover they may have more in common than either wants to admit.

Michael may know how to write the perfect romance, but Lea is about to show him that falling in love is a lot more complicated—and a lot more fun—when you can’t control the ending.
