One Last Thing
Dylan Derringer (Wendell Pierce) has settled into a quiet life in Florida, dividing his days between his dental practice and solitary rounds of golf. Then news from his past reveals that he has a grown daughter, Lucy (Jurnee Smollett), and the life he thought he knew begins to change. With encouragement from his assistant Jaime (Joanne Froggatt), Dylan reaches out to Lucy. Their first steps toward a relationship are uneasy, but as they get to know each other, both must decide what it means to make room for family after years apart. Written and directed by Tim Rouhana, One Last Thing is a heartfelt drama about connection, second chances, and finding joy where you least expect it.
