A cynical journalist who has long since stopped believing in happily-ever-afters gets an assignment she can’t resist: uncover the truth about the charming “Don Juan” of the dating-app world, a man whose reputation for romance has made him impossible to ignore.

Convinced there’s more to his carefully curated image than meets the eye, she sets out to expose the man behind the profile. But the more time she spends with him, the harder it becomes to separate the story she expected to write from the man she’s actually getting to know.

Between dating experiments, witty banter, and an attraction neither of them planned for, her skepticism begins to disappear one swipe at a time. Soon, the journalist determined to prove that modern romance is all an illusion may find herself becoming the leading lady in a love story of her own.
