His New Job

His big break could break the whole production.

Charlie lands a job at a movie studio, where his attempts to help behind the scenes quickly create chaos. When he gets a chance to step in front of the camera, his dreams of acting glory lead to even more disastrous results.

Written, directed by and starring Charlie Chaplin, this playful silent short turns the filmmaking process into a slapstick playground of mishandled props, frustrated colleagues and comic ambition.
