C.P.O. Sharkey

Don Rickles plays a sharp-tongued Navy chief trying to keep his recruits in line—and discovering they have plenty of ways to test his patience.

Chief Petty Officer Steve Sharkey has spent years in the Navy and knows exactly how he thinks a training station should run. His new recruits—and the changing world around him—have other ideas.

Don Rickles brings his quick wit and unmistakable comic style to C.P.O. Sharkey, a ’70s sitcom about barracks life, clashing personalities, and a chief who always has something to say. Across two seasons, Sharkey tries to maintain order while his recruits, fellow officers, and commanding officers keep giving him fresh reasons to lose his cool.
