Between Showers

Two would-be gentlemen. One umbrella. A puddle full of trouble.

When a young woman needs help crossing a rain-soaked street, Charlie and a rival compete to come to her rescue. Their attempts at gallantry quickly descend into squabbles, slapstick and a dispute over an umbrella stolen from a policeman.

Starring Charlie Chaplin, Ford Sterling and Chester Conklin, this early silent comedy turns a simple act of kindness into a chaotic contest of bruised egos and comic mishaps.
